Ok .....here goes ,
I'm in the process of trying to buy a house ..... but all my problems started when i gave my 2007 & 2008 taxes forms to my mortgage person and she pointed out i wrote off too much stuff on my taxes for both years and that would hinder me from getting approve for the $$ amount i needed to buy the property so i was told to amend my taxes which i did , but now i ended up owing the IRS , granted i didn't mail in the " 1040" from to them yet.
Now she's telling me before i can even forward in the process of even getting an pre-approval letter or even a loan i would need to pay the IRS off , bu t i don't know why that would be cause the IRS doesn't even knows i owe them period and there is no tax lien on my credit or anything ...... pretty much i'm the only one who knows i owe them taxes and you guys , lol ....but seriously i don't know if she knows what she's talking about or doing .
Can someone enlighten me , i need some help working around this cause the way i look at it is that if i get the house then i get $8k which can in turn pay off " Uncle Sam " , beside where i'm going to get that $$ to pay off the taxes ..
